Hi, I'm Cheryl... and welcome to our little corner of the world.
For as long as I can remember, I have seen stories told to me in pictures, just like a movie reel. Now, I am honored to create those images I see for you. I LOVE everything about Photography, flowers & nature, and try to spend as much time outside as possible. I have a thing for Gummy Bears (clear & red only) and Dairy Queen chocolate dipped ice cream cones. I Love any thing vintage. Oh, I'm very tall. I am happily married to my best friend & almost better half, Lance. He is my biggest supporter on this roller-coaster ride called life. Together we have a daughter Audrey, aka: My lil'Muse and 6 older children. We are truly blessed. I believe in karma and I believe that life is organically beautiful, if you take the time to look not just see what's around you.
I have always been drawn to photography, because it captures moments that only last a split second and documents them for a lifetime. Those are the moments that I see and have a trained eye to capture for you. My style would be considered candid with a editorial or fine art flair. I love documenting real, raw, powerful moments between people. I love gorgeous light and organic textures with natural settings. I am very hands on and directive when it comes to styling my images. I focus on highlighting the laughter, passion and connection in people just as they’re occurring. This has been the "gift" that I was given. To sense the shot coming before it arrives and the uncanny ability to be in the right place at the right time, every-time! Because of this, I can focus on creating images that are individual to each couples style. I want your friends and family to feel as if they are actually there when they see your images. I want you to feel the emotion in the shot when you look at it 20 years later. I want to create an Heirloom for you to pass down from generation to generation.
I create a carefree, family style atmosphere. Our sessions are fun & adventurous, and help showcase who you are perfectly.
